Feb  27 – Sunday of Last Judgements. Meatfare. This is a meat-free Fasting week.

Feb  28 – Maslenitsa and Shrovetide/Mardi Gras are this week.

March 6 – Forgiveness Sunday. Cheesefare.

March 7 – Bright Monday. Beginning of Great Lent. 40-day Lenten Fast begins.

March 13 – Sunday of Orthodoxy

March 25 – Great Feast – The Annunciation of our Most Holy Lady, the Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary

April 16 – Lazarus Saturday

April 17 – Palm Sunday. Holy Week begins.

April 18 – Holy Monday – The Bridegroom

April 19 – Holy Tuesday – The Parables of the End

April 20 – Holy Wednesday – Invitation to the Last Supper

April 21 – Holy Thursday – The Last Supper

April 22 – Holy Friday – The Crucifixion

April 23 – Holy Friday Vespers – The Burial of our Lord

April 24 – Holy Saturday – Descent into Hades

April 24 – Holy Saturday Vespers and Midnight Paschal Service – Resurrection. Lenten Fast ends.

April 25 – Pascha – The Feast of Feasts.
