The Renovation has started!

Christ is Risen!!!

If you stop by the church you will be quite startled by the rapid change developing as the contractor has started with a flurry of activity. Check out the Sunday May 1st Liturgy to Thursday May 5th photos! Thanks to all who have come out and worked so hard to get (almost) everything out of the church building so the deconstruction phase can progress. The schedule is to have the upstairs balcony removed, the entire barrel ceiling and two interior walls of the former Altar area and west wall stripped away upstairs and the downstairs kitchen dividing wall and bathrooms removed by this weekend and the excavation of the hole for the new addition started on Friday. Pretty ambitious program but it certainly seems to be coming together.

We still have a number of things to accomplish before Friday when the excavator arrives. If you can help with anything please give me a call or just come on down to the church with your work clothes on. We need to move the garden around, empty out the kitchen space, and on Saturday we will be setting up our new temporary worship space down the street.
